In 2005 the SA Foundation team began a 3-year program consultation process with a team of women from New York who identified the lack of recovery services for sexually exploited/trafficked women to be a major problem in their city.

Once they opened their doors they began to focus their programs and services on reaching foreign national women that were trafficked into New York City and today they run a very successful and nationally recognized program.
